The Bold and the Beautiful Spoilers Thursday, January 2 Update: Hope Flips Out Over Thomas’ Disturbing Surprise – Ridge Duped by Zoe Plot

The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers update for Thursday, January 2, teases that Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) will have a renewed sense of hope. As Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) grows closer to Zoe Buckingham (Kiara Barnes), Ridge will think this is going to work out great for everyone. He’ll become even more convinced that Thomas is trying to turn his life around and move on from his Hope Logan (Annika Noelle) infatuation.

However, Ridge doesn’t realize his son’s still scheming to win Hope over. Zoe’s part of Thomas’ plot, but Thomas will put on a convincing show for now. He’ll keep flaunting his new romance and count on it to lower everyone’s guard. Thomas will believe he’s inching closer to what he really wants, which is a future with Hope.

Bold and the Beautiful Spoilers – Ridge Thrilled About Thomas And Zoe

Ridge, on the other hand, will only see Thomas and Zoe seemingly getting serious. He’ll view this as proof that Brooke Forrester (Katherine Kelly Lang) has nothing to fear. Ridge will have reconciliation on his mind this Thursday. He’ll want to hash things out with Brooke and get their marriage back on track, but Brooke will continue to battle concerns about Thomas.

After all, Brooke knows Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) cooked up a plot with Zoe and Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood). Zoe’s mission was to figure out Thomas’ true motives, but Brooke will fret about the plan being blown. The closer Zoe gets to Thomas, the more her judgment will be clouded.

Nevertheless, Brooke will like the idea of putting things back together with Ridge if possible. She’ll want Ridge to move back in next week, so it seems they’ll make progress – even if it doesn’t last long. In the meantime, The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers say Thomas will blunder his scheme. His big surprise will leave Hope disturbed and once again uncertain of Thomas’ intentions.

Due to Hope’s unpleasant reaction to this gift or gesture, Thomas may have to do some damage control. B&B fans know Thomas isn’t a quitter, so he’ll surely view this as a minor hiccup or perhaps even something that could help him in the end. Thomas tends to twist things around and remain optimistic about his future with Hope. That should be the case in Thursday’s episode as well.
