The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers for Tuesday, August 17 reveal that Quinn Forrester (Rena Sofer) reacts to Eric Forrester’s (John McCook) request. Just when Quinn commits to Carter Walton (Lawrence Saint-Victor), Eric decides that he wants his marriage back. Plus, John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) struggles with his loyalty to the Forrester family.
Eric Forrester’s Request
B&B spoilers for Tuesday reveal that Quinn stopped by the Forrester estate to sign the divorce papers. While she was there, Eric explained why Stephanie Forrester’s (Susan Flannery) portrait was on the wall. The patriarch said that Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) wanted to honor her grandmother at her wedding, which is true.
Eric will drop a bombshell on Quinn by telling her that he wants to give their marriage another chance. Eric claims to still love her but getting Quinn back won’t be that easy.
B&B Spoilers: Quinn Forrester Shocked
Quinn has just committed to Carter, who wants to go public with their relationship. Even though she doesn’t want Carter to risk his career at Forrester Creations, the lawyer doesn’t want to keep their romance a secret any longer. Once she made a commitment to him, Eric comes forward to say that he wants his wife back. Quinn will be shocked with the turn of events but won’t know which direction she should go.
The Sheila Carter Complication
The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers for Tuesday reveal that everything was finally going perfect for “SINN.” Finn and Steffy have their baby and walked down the aisle. The couple exchanged vows to become husband and wife. However, there just had to be a complication and that turned out to be the return of Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown).

The Bold And The Beautiful Spoilers: John Finnegan’s Struggle
Even though Steffy and the Forrester family have told Finn all about the evil things Sheila has done over the years, he is still torn. He has an emotional urge to get to know his birth mother no matter what she has done in the past. Now he is keeping his first secret from Steffy, which is that he responded to Sheila’s text message. Finn will continue to find himself in a tug-of-war. Which side will he end up choosing and how will Steffy react to Finn’s big lie?

OMG!!!! I could not believe today's episode 8/16/21. Why don't Eric let
Quinn continue to "kick rocks" and stay away. Let her sign those divorce papers and he move on with his life. Since she has been having an affair with Carter, you can really see that Eric looks entirely too tired and old for Quinn. One thing is for sure, Quinn is a very beautiful woman, that can't be denied. Secondly, Carter gives her new life and is like a breath of fresh air. Eric has nothing going as of late, but aging and money. He should find a woman of a particular age that he has more in common with and get a new life for himself. Writers, please take note. Bring in someone new for Eric as a love interest. They are out there. Also, let Quinn and Carter's relationship have a chance to see if its the real thing, without Eric's money, and if a relationship between an older woman, Quinn, and a younger man, Carter can really work. What have they got to lose. They have been together for months, in TV time. Further, Please remove Paris from Steffy's and Finn's home. In fact, please remove this no talented actor from the show all together. Everyone talked about the character Emma Barber being a lousy actor, heck, Paris is just as bad. Talking through a half opened mouth and semi clenched teeth. Cannot stand her character. Send her where ever Zende has gone, only for good. The two of them could exit left and will NOT be missed on the show trust me.

Once a character is "detached" from a core family they often disappear from the show. I don't think Quinn and Carter have enough storyline to be interesting on their own.
I think if Quinn go back to Eric she is not going to stop seeing Carter and the truth will come out again that they never stop sleeping together. If she does go back to Eric it is only for what material things he can offer her and nothing else, love, she can do from afar. Only a matter of time for the truth to once again come out. Hope she just tell him she has moved on with her life without him.

I totally agree with you. Can not believe a man, such as Eric is so dumb. Once his family fine out about him taking Quinn will probably wonder if he is in his right mind. Hope he doesn't wind up having a heart attack and Quinn try taking the company away from the family. This man is so unbelievable and pathetic.
