The newlyweds were thrilled to hit the sheets and start trying to get pregnant, Daphne even bragged to her friend Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) that she and her hubby would have a baby in nine months.

Carter And Daphne Head To The Doctor
Carter Walton (Lawrence St. Victor) and his new wife have their heart set on having kids, but that could be harder than they realize.
Daphne Rose (Murielle Hillaire) and Carter Walton are both middle-aged and neither of them have had children yet. It turns out there’s actually a reason behind that, and one of them is having trouble conceiving.
The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers reveal that Carter and Daphne will both head to the doctors’ to try and get to the bottom of their pregnancy problems.

In the mean time, they are in a race against Daphne’s biological clock and will begin to explore other options. Like any couple, their fertility woes will probably start to put a damper on their relationship.
An Unexpected Surrogate
Word on the internet is that Daphne Rose and Carter could be on the hunt for a surrogate. That opens up a whole new can of worms for the couple.
Steffy Forrester is close with Daphne, she might volunteer to carry their baby. Plus, she’ll have Dr Finn (Tanner Novlan) to support her and help during the process.
Seeing as how Hope Logan (Annika Noelle) was engaged to Carter last year, we don’t see her volunteering to carry his baby with another woman.

There aren’t a whole lot of other characters on the soap opera who are even the appropriate age to be a surrogate. Dylan and Electra are far too young and haven’t even had children of their own yet.
