The Bold and the Beautiful Star Kiara Barnes Opens Up About Her Character Zoe

The Bold and the Beautiful star Kiara Barnes says that when it comes to her on screen character Zoe, there is definitely more than what meets the eye. As a matter of fact, the stunning actress says that her character isn’t the Fatal Attraction-inspired stalker that everyone thought she would end up to be.

Kiara says that she’s happy viewers have seen her character Zoe change so much in such a short period of time. She’s had to go through plenty of steps to make sure that she and Xander have a healthy, productive relationship. Needless to say, it wasn’t always easy.

The actress told CBS Soaps in Depth in an interview, “When she first came on, it was fun to be in that troubled space. She may have gotten a little out of hand, but she would never hurt anyone. I feel like we all have our crazy moments, but at the end of the day, that’s not what defines us. So I’m happy that I’m able to show that Zoe has a lot more to offer.”

In addition, the fact that her father Reese (Wayne Brady) is in town has definitely complicated matters even further for her. Reese has threatened to undo much of the progress that Zoe has made. Not only might this jeopardize her job, but her reputation as well. Simply put, she wants nothing to do with her golddigging father.

Kiara adds, “She came to Los Angeles with nothing and created something for herself, but Reese’s involvement with Taylor has hit a little too close to home. She just wants to make sure things don’t get out of whack!”
