Who is The Bold and The Beautiful Stephanie Forrester, The Forrester Matriarch?

CBS The Bold and the Beautiful updates and spoilers tease that this week we see glamorous Forrester matriarch Stephanie Forrester (Susan Flannery) as the show continues to show flashback episodes.

Just who is this indomitable force of nature? Stephanie was married to Eric Forrester (John McCook), and their son Ridge (Thorsten Kaye) is currently in a front-burner storyline.

Sadly, Stephanie died of lung cancer on November 26, 2012. Following her death viewers were reminded of the lovely lady by the large portrait of her that hung in the Forrester mansion. Her portrait has now been replaced by that of Eric’s current wide, Quinn Fuller (Rena Sofer).

The Bold and the Beautiful Spoilers – When was Stephanie Forrester Last on B&B?

Stephanie did appear as a flashback on November 26, 2012, and as a video recording on December 7 and 10, 2012. Her latest appearance was on February 9, 2018, as a voice-over during Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang) and Ridge’s wedding.

Brooke and Stephanie were longtime rivals who came together and bonded in the end. When Stephanie was diagnosed with lung cancer only Brooke knew.

Through the years Stephanie and Brooke fought over the attentions of both Ridge and Eric resulting in verbal and physical altercations. At one point Stephanie went after Brooke in the Big Bear cabin and tried to strangle her.

Yet it was Brooke who she chose to be at her side when she died. This was a controversial move by the show, with many fans angry that Eric had been left out.

Eric and Stephanie had numerous romances and at one shocking point, it was revealed that Massimo Marone, not Eric, was Ridge’s biological father.

Ridge was devastated by the news but eventually forgave his mother for lying to him.

Another shocking point in Stephanie’s life was the day she discovered that she, not Eric, was the owner of Forrester Creations. Eric had kept this from her for decades, and in response, she first kneed him in his gentleman parts then she fired him.

Later, Eric had a fling with Donna Logan (Jennifer Gareis) and he divorced Stephanie and forced her out of Forrester Creations.

Stephanie got revenge on the couple by teaming with The Bold and the Beautiful’s Bill Spencer (Don Diamont), a powerful publishing titan. In the end, Bill took control of Forrester Creations to avenge Stephanie.
