Alexandra Mardell Confirms Coronation Street Exit

Coronation Street spoilers and updates tease that Alexandra Mardell has confirmed her departure from the show. The exit scene of her character, Emma Brooker, is scheduled to be filmed later this month.

The actress shared that she’ll be leaving Coronation Street on Monday, February 7. She’s been with the show for four years, which she considers as one of the best experiences in her life.

“Compared to other cast members I still feel like a newbie, which makes my decision to leave all the more difficult. But I feel it’s the right time for me,” the actress explained.

“I can’t thank everyone at Coronation Street enough for welcoming me and trusting me to tell so many wonderful and heartfelt stories,” she continued.

Coronation Street Spoilers  – Emma Brooker’s Exit Storyline

Coronation Street boss, Iain MacLeod hinted that Emma’s exit storyline may have something to do with a problem that she’s dealing with right now. MacLeod teased that Emma is in “a massive pickle,” which would lead to her departure from the cobbles. He described Mardell as “a pure Corrie gold” and wished Mardell all the best.

Madell debuted on the show as Emma in the spring of 2018. Her impeccable performance in the show earned her a nomination for a National Television Award for Best Newcomer. She bagged the same award at the British Soap Awards.

Who Is Adam Barlow’s Stalker?

Adam Barlow (Sam Robertson) assumes that Jeremy Bremmer was responsible for breaking his car windscreen. He confronts the latter, who denies the accusation. He may have keyed his car before but he’s not responsible for the latest act of vandalism.

Later on, the police storm Adam and Imran Habeeb’s (Charlie de Melo) office after getting a tip. Sarah Barlow (Tina O’Brien) thinks that her husband’s accusations have provoked Jeremey further. Adam starts receiving silent phone calls and continues to believe that it’s Jeremy. However, he’ll be forced to admit that he made a mistake when Sarah receives a threatening note.

The couple will be worried that their stalker managed to get into their flat so they’ll have their locks changed. Adam tells Sarah to stay with Nick Tilsley (Ben Price) while he brings in Peter Barlow (Chris Gascoyne) to keep him company. But the stalker reenters Adam’s flat and leaves another ominous note for the couple.
