Coronation Street: Abi Webster Finally Turns Against Aaron

Coronation Street spoilers, news, and updates tease that Abi Webster (Sally Carman) will no longer be standing by Aaron Sandford (James Craven). In upcoming scenes, she’ll turn against him after reading Amy Barlow’s (Elle Mulvaney) blog post.

Fans may recall that Abi has supported Aaron despite the rape allegations against him. She even offered him a place to stay in her house. However, her beliefs may change and she starts to question Aaron’s integrity and motives.

Elle Mulvaney, the actress who plays the role of Amy Webster, teased that more and more people will start to support her because she’s not the kind of person who will lie about something as serious as rape.

“She wouldn’t just be saying this for no reason, which does create a bit of a dilemma for Abi at first, because Aaron’s almost like a second son to her,” she added.

“She backed him before she knew it was Amy, but this adds a different level to things because she knows Amy and she knows she wouldn’t lie. Abi and Tracy have been friends and Abi then feels a responsibility to do something about it,” she continued.

As for James Craven, the actor behind Aaron Sandford, he explained that it’ll take a while before his alter ego realizes what he’s done. He added that his character believes that he is innocent that’s why he continues to defend himself.

“It’s quite a difficult thing when he’s outwardly defending himself and you know that he shouldn’t be defending himself. As an actor you have to try and find a way to rationalize why he does what he does because he’s not an evil character,” he added.

Coronation Street Spoilers – Amy Gets Police Warning

Meanwhile, spoilers hint that Amy will get a warning from the police. The authorities will show up at her door and tell her that someone has reported her for harassment. The allegation comes about after she warns Mia about Aaron’s true nature. Amy is appalled and left in disbelief at the whole system. They did nothing after she reported her rape due to a lack of evidence.
