Coronation Street: Adam Has Panic Attack In the Middle of a Court Hearing

Coronation Street spoilers, news, and updates tease Adam Barlow (Sam Robertson) has a panic attack in the middle of a court hearing. He has been going through a lot lately, and he fears that the gangsters he hired to scare Damon (Ciaran Griffiths) away might have actually killed him.

Adam Is Overwhelmed By Stress

While Adam is making a case for his client in court, he starts to sweat and shake. He lost focus and stormed out of the courtroom. Dee-Dee (Channique Sterling-Brown) is alarmed to see Adam experiencing a panic attack at work.

Speaking about what his character is going through, Sam Robertson said, “He’s just overwhelmed by the stress of it all and it suddenly catches up with him at work.”

“Everything just seems to be imploding around him but he’s his own boss, he knows he can’t just check out and have a week off to get his head straight but he’s struggling to work through it,” he added.

Corrie Spoilers: Is Damon Dead?

It previously seemed that Adam got his life perfectly under control. However, he recently found out that Sarah (Tina O’Brien) had been having an affair, and she had slept with Damon.

Adam and Sarah have tried to rebuild their marriage since the revelation, but then when Sarah turns out to be pregnant, they don’t know for sure who the father is.

So, he hired a gangster to scare Damon away, and it worked (or so he thought!). Adam read in an article that one of the brothers Damon was involved with has been arrested for murder. Adam feared that the victim might have been Damon and that he might have set the precursor for his death.

He pressed Sarah if she had heard from Damon lately and started to confess that he had done something stupid. They were interrupted when Sarah realized that she was bleeding, so they rushed to the hospital.

Is the Baby Safe?

After the scan, Adam and Sarah are both relieved that the baby is safe. Sarah tried to broach the subject of the paternity test, but Adam avoided it.

Adam believes in his heart that the baby is his, but if the paternity test reveals that the baby is Damon’s, he doesn’t know how he will handle this.

Sarah is now worried that if the baby turns out to be Damon’s, she will have to choose between Adam and the baby.
