Corrie spoilers reveal that Adam has dealt with a lot of storylines over the years. However, the situation with Lydia, who began stalking the character, has left the actor feeling confused. Robertson explained his confusion with Manchester Evening News, as well as other media outlets.

Coronation Street Spoilers – Actor Confused

Robertson admits that he does enjoy working with Ryan. The storyline has also given him something new. The actor discussed how doing the same type of storylines can be a problem.

“I think one thing that I’ve enjoyed about working with Rebecca so much is it’s been a bit different really. I think sometimes familiarity breeds contempt. Sometimes you pick up a script and it’s like ‘I feel like it’s doing the same scene I did 12 months ago.”

Coronation Street Spoilers – Sam Robertson Recalibrating

Coronation Street spoilers reveal that Robertson decided to turn to some of his co-stars that have been on the soap for decades. Two people the actor mentioned were David Neilson (Roy Cropper) and Jimmi Harkishin (Dev Alahan). Robertson confessed to the seasoned stars that sometimes he felt like walking away from the soap.

However, they assured him that they understood where he was coming from. Robertson realized that it wasn’t that he necessarily wanted to leave Corrie, but that actors are used to playing different characters. So, to come on a soap and play the same character with similar storylines can be frustrating.

“I’ve not played another character in over six years in my career now. I feel like at the minute coming through this really big storyline I definitely feel I need to recalibrate a bit and find out what this character is all about. I feel this storyline and the confusion Adam is feeling… I’m kind of feeling the same confusion myself as an actor in terms of who this character I’m playing now. it’s very different from what it was six months ago or 12 months [ago].”

Coronation Street Spoilers – Sarah Barlow’s Future

Regarding the stalker storyline and Adam’s future with Sarah, Robertson feels that Adam truly didn’t know the impact that his actions had on Lydia all those years ago. Adam realizes that he can’t escape his past. Adam is worried that his past could affect his present and future. As for whether Sarah and Adam can overcome Lydia, the actor admitted that he really isn’t sure.
