Coronation Street: Daisy Breaks Upsetting News To Jenny Following Leo’s Death

Coronation Street spoilers, news, and updates tease that Daisy Midgeley (Charlotte Jordan) will be the bearer of more bad news for Jenny Connor (Sally Ann Matthews). The upsetting revelation will be dropped following the death of the latter’s fiancé, Leo Thompkins (Joe Frost).

Fans know that Leo and Stephen Reid (Todd Boyce) got into a fight after the former discovered that the latter was trying to defraud Audrey Roberts (Sue Nicholls). After the showdown with Leo last week, Stephen has been trying to cover up the truth about Leo’s death. Jenny starts to worry about Leo upon her visit to Weatherfield when he failed to come home all night.

Jenny thinks that Leo has gone out drinking with friends before their planned move to Canada. But Daisy believes that there’s another explanation for his absence. Viewers know that Leo talked to Daisy beforehand and told her that he’s having second thoughts about his future with Jenny. He started to feel this way after he kissed Jenny and Leo’s father warned him that she can’t be trusted.

As Jenny starts to worry about Leo, Daisy breaks the upsetting news that Leo may have had cold feet. Nobody knows about Leo and Stephen’s showdown so Jenny will continue to believe that Leo dumped her.

Coronation Street Spoilers – Todd Boyce Opens Up About New Storyline

Todd Boyce, who plays the role of Stephen, teased that his character will steal Leo’s personal belongings and make it look like he left for Canada.

“Stephen goes back to the scene of the crime. I think he’s guilt-ridden. He’s at the back of Underworld and he sees Leo’s phone, which they were scuffling over. It had been forgotten about on the ground,” he said.

“Stephen manages to make it seem like Leo is in Canada. He sneaks into the pub, because he overhears from Gemma that the suitcase and the passport are in the back room. It was very creepy sneaking into an empty pub and doing that,” he added.

Boyce added that Stephen would have the perfect cover. Leo’s things are gone, including his suitcase and someone pretending that he’s happily staying in Canada by sending text messages to the people he knows back in Weatherfield.

The actor added that his character may be able to cope with the fact that he killed someone. Fans will just have to wait and see what’s next for Weatherfield’s newest villain.
