“Coronation Street” star Daniel Brocklebank has reacted to the upcoming drama of Todd Grimshaw’s dark secrets finally coming to light.
Next week in the soap, Paul (Peter Ash) spots Summer (Harriet Bibby) in Victoria Garden. When Todd explains she’s agonizing over her diabetes appointment, Paul volunteers to persuade her.
Summer confesses to Billy she misses Paul so much, which leads to Todd trying harder to earn the teenager’s approval by asking Billy to marry him.
Despite Paul’s warning that Billy will regret his decision, viewers will see Todd and Billy announcing their engagement.
Actor Daniel told the media that he thinks the viewers are all waiting for Todd’s mighty long fall. “The tweets that I get from people ask: ‘When is he going to get found out?’ Certainly out on the street as well, people have been asking: ‘How can’t you see it? I can’t believe you can’t see what’s going on!” he said.
And just like the rest, Daniel admitted he’s looking forward to all the unraveling and airing which he described as “fun to shoot.”
When asked about Billy forgiving Todd, Daniel laughed and described his character: “Billy’s so shit, isn’t he? He always tries to do the right thing and never really quite manages it. He always messes it up somewhere.”
“It’s easier said than done when you’ve had your heart broken, but I think for Summer’s sake, Billy would probably – at least on the surface – try to find a middle ground, at least just to try and keep that co-parenting stable for Summer,” he revealed.
Daniel pointed out that Billy will have to choose his peace of mind over everything.
“As we all know, if you’re hating on someone, they can’t feel it. The only person that really affects badly is you, if you’re holding onto all that negative energy,” he added.
“Coronation Street” Spoilers — Todd Receives An Exposé Threat From A Stalker
Viewers know Todd wouldn’t be where he is right now if he didn’t choreograph his way back to Billy’s arms.
But Todd will be haunted by his past soon as a stalker who’s determined to expose his manipulations rock the cobbles in the upcoming episodes.
Summer finds a letter on the porch addressed to Todd. When Todd opens it, he’s gutted to read “Don’t get too comfortable. Your lies will come out.”
Meanwhile, Billy also finds a helpline flyer with an abusive message scribbled on it and Todd insists Paul is the mastermind.
But things only get complicated when Billy confronts Paul, bringing with him the note. Todd has also warned Paul for the letter on the porch. This leads Paul into suspecting Todd is actually hiding evil secrets.

Will Paul Unearth His Secrets And Be The One To Expose Todd?
Aside from Billy, Summer will be greatly affected by the revelation. “She would be really disappointed I think, because she does love him and she loves the idea of their little family unit being back together,” actress Bibby admitted.
