Coronation Street Spoilers: Fiz Horrified Over Alina’s Baby Bombshell, Finds New Lover

Coronation Street spoilers and teasers reveal Fiz Stapes will be heartbroken over Alina and Tyrone’s baby announcement, but a newcomer at the Cobbles will mend her broken heart.

Fiz (Jennie McAlpine) lately has become Tyrone’s (Alan Halsall) support system after his former abuser and ex-partner Kirsty Soames (Natalie Gumede) passed away.

The ex-couple, who previously embarked on a custody war between their children, found common grounds with the challenge on how to tell baby Ruby that her biological mother, whom she has never seen, is dead.

Later, Fiz has to step in and join Tyron at Kirsty’s funeral because Alina weakens due to morning sickness as she’s bearing a child, without Fiz’s knowledge.

But things will get sour soon as Fiz learns the new couple’s secret.

In the upcoming episodes, Tyrone’s grandmother Evelyn (Dame Maureen Lipman) is quick to find out about Alina’s pregnancy after seeing her nauseous due to morning sickness. But Evelyn keeps her mouth shut over the situation as she’s keen to find out more.

Tyrone and Alina agree to keep the baby, and the mechanical suggests to Alina they should keep the pregnancy bombshell a secret until the baby’s 12th-week scan.

But Fiz soon finds out after seeing the couple meeting for Alina’s baby appointment at the medical center. Tyrone has to spill the bean now that he’s caught off guard, leaving Fiz heartbroken for how quick he’s gotten over her and their family.

At her home, Fiz tries to confide with Evelyn but soon learns she’s aware of the news and has kept it from her, leading to Fiz feeling betrayed.

“Do you know what I think? If you’re prepared to keep his secrets while you’re living in this house, then maybe it’s best that you moved out. I’m serious – we can manage without you. Evelyn, I’m asking you to leave,” Fiz said.

The actress Jennie McAlpine has teased on a new romance storyline for her character as a newcomer named Phil who she will meet at the furniture shop will ask her for a date.

“It’s perfect timing, and comes really out of the blue. She can’t believe it; it feels too good to be true. It makes her feel that there might be a little bit of life after Tyrone,” Fiz told TV Times magazine.
