Coronation Street Reveals Character’s Comeback Played With New Actor

Coronation StreetCoronation Street spoilers and updates has revealed an old character is returning to the soap who is tied to an upcoming intense storyline for Seb Franklin’s murder case, but she’s played by a new actor who fans will recognize.

The ITV soap announced Imran’s ex-wife Sabeen will return to the soap in Corrie’s what’s-to-come teaser and it has been confirmed that the barrister will be played by “Unforgotten” star Zora Bishop.

Fans can also recognize her from her previous characters as Eva Fruchtman in “The Eichmann Show” (2015), as Mother of Toddler in “Closed Circuit” (2013), and as Kate Hall in “The Carrier” (2015).

Corrie viewers knew the role was originally portrayed by actress Avita Jay in a brief appearance on the soap in 2018 and that Sabeen is Imran Habeeb’s (Charlie de Melo) ex-wife.

The teaser explains Sabeen’s return which described “that Imran (Charlie de Melo) will be torn between his current partner Toyah Battersby (Georgia Taylor) and former spouse Sabeen.”

It was revealed that Sabeen’s return has something to do with the development of another major storyline following Seb Franklin’s murder case development.

In the future episodes, Sabeen will get in the way as a solicitor for Imran to defend his foster daughter Kelly Neelan (Millie Gibson) as the latter faces trial in court with gang leader Corey Brent (Maximus Evans).

Coronation Street Spoilers – Welcomes Two Hollyoaks Alumni To The Soap

Aside from Zora, two more newcomers were signed by Corrie to join the soap’s cast.

Former Billy Parker in “Hollyoaks” actor Daniel Jillings will have his debut next week as PC Brody who will be involved in a racist police arrest that will jeopardize the career of the football star James Bailey (Nathan Graham).

Another “Hollyoaks” alumni as Tilly Evans actress Lucy Dixon has already appeared in the ITV soap this month as a mystery woman named Danielle, who helped Curtis Delamere (Sam Retford) come to terms with his heart condition.

Danielle was accused as Curtis’ mistress when the two met at the Bistro to talk about his real health status, which resulted in a mess, as Curtis took advantage of the situation.

Claiming he’s slept with Danielle, Curtis hid the truth from his lover Emma Brooker (Alexandra Mardell) that he could “drop dead” any moment as he already collapsed twice due to his unknown heart condition.
