Coronation Street Spoilers: Abi And Imran’s Secret, Will They Lose Toyah and Kevin?

Coronation Street has aired the highly anticipated baby plot twist for Imran Habeeb and Abi Webster. Previously, Abi (Sally Carman) confronted Imran (Charlie de Melo) they must sort things out as she suspected she’s pregnant with his child following their one-night stand after Seb’s (Harry Visinoni) murder case trial development.

Abi insisted it might be Imran’s child as she and her husband Kevin have abstained from making love in a while, to which Imran suggested she should take a test first. Abi then informed him of her plans to come clean to Kevin (Michael Le Vell), which troubled Imran as he had no plans of breaking the news to wife Toyah (Georgia Taylor) who already knew he cheated on her with a random woman.

Corrie fans were on the edge of their seats when Kevin happened to pass by and overheard some of Abi and Imran’s conversation. When he asked Abi what it was that she should tell him, she managed to escape.

The drama continued on Monday’s (January 3) double bill, with Abi dropping by at Imran’s place, with Toyah buzzing her in.

Imran was overcome with fear as he thought Abi came to expose their secrets once and for all, however, Abi announced: “I just wanted to say that everything is alright and that you have nothing to worry about.”

Imran felt relieved, as Abi’s words also pretended to talk about her feud with Imran and Toyah’s former foster child Kelly Neelan (Millie Gibson).

“We can move forward now,” Abi declared, assuring Imran she’s not pregnant contrary to what she suspected.

Although for now Abi and Imran seemed to escape trouble easily, Corrie boss Iain MacLeod revealed it won’t be forever, which might result in Abi losing Kevin and Jack (Kyran Bowes), and Imran breaking up with partner Toyah.

“The story coming up has got massive secrets in the middle of it all, which is some of the best stuff that we do. I think the way the ticking timebomb goes off in this story, which won’t be for many months into the new year, is entirely surprising,” MacLeod told Digital Spy.

“I think it’s probably the last thing you imagine will happen at the end of all this,” he hinted, revealing that the Corrie team just finished storylining. It’s already given that Kevin and Toyah will unearth their secrets and it’s only a matter of time.

“I think we’ll just make people fall off their chairs,” he teased.
