When Ali approached her at the salon and asked what’s bothering her, she started to confide in him. The pair continued their conversation and one thing led to another. They ended up giving in to their desires and spending a passionate night together.

Later on, Maria was horrified when Gary came clean that he was trying to buy an engagement ring for her. When he got down on his knees to ask for her hand in marriage, Maria said yes while feeling guilty for betraying him by sleeping with Ali. Then, Maria told Ali that what happened between them was a mistake and that she’s decided to stay with Gary.

Will Adam reveal all to Gary? It’s been revealed that the show is building up an exit storyline for Ali. He’s already filmed his final scenes and is expected to leave the sudser next month.

Coronation Street Spoilers: Ali’s Exit

Will a violent confrontation between him and Gary be the reason for his exit?  The good news is that The Sun confirmed that Ali won’t be leaving the cobbles in a body bag. This means the door will be left wide open for a future return.

Burrows still has not revealed why he’s leaving the soap. So fans need to stay tuned to find out if his departure was his decision or the sudser. Additionally, the actor is yet to announce if his exit is temporary or permanent.
