Coronation Street spoilers and updates tease that former “Coronation Street” Todd Grimshaw actor Bruno Langley shifted to a pop music career after being written out from the ITV soap in 2017. The pop musician has announced he is preparing to release his new music soon.
Last week the shamed actor dropped the news in his Instagram account, titled Bruno Langley Music, and thank everyone for praising his craft.
“Thank you for all your lovely messages regarding my music I love you all and I hope you are doing well x I am working on some new music I hope to share with you very soon,” he revealed.
“I have 5 wonderful, beautiful, and talented sisters. The 38-year-old celebrity was axed as Todd Grimshaw on the soap in 2017 after being involved in a sexual assault case of two women at a Manchester music venue. He later pleaded guilty and was punished with a 12-month community order that the Corrie bosses had to rewrite his storylines.
He played Todd for over 16 years and was last seen by viewers running away from Weatherfield with Billy Mayhew’s (Daniel Brocklebank) goddaughter Summer Spellman (Matilda Freeman) when her grandmother Geraldine (Lynne Verrall) sought to gain custody of her.
However, even if Bruno left the set four years ago, his loyal fans are still hoping for his return. His fans not only flooded his Instagram posts with congratulatory messages but also with wishes and questions when to see the actor acting on-screen again.
“I really hope you have the opportunity to act again, you’re seriously one of the best actors of this generation. I haven’t watched Corrie since they let you go, it’s not worth it, there’s no character in there that is half as good as you were. You’ve paid your dues they should be begging for you to go back,” an avid fan wrote.
“I too really hope that you get back into acting again, you’ve always been a great actor,” another one chimed in.
It was previously reported in 2018 that Bruno wanted to make a comeback behind the camera as a director and considered scriptwriting.
“Bruno knows he’ll never act in any meaningful way again and that is the price he will pay for his actions. But he feels he’s got so much to give in the future. He’s also a talented writer and knows the business very well and has some very good skills as a director,” a source told The Sun Online.
