As she begins diving into her research, Alya realizes that Geoff is a dangerous man and her grandmother is in serious danger. How can she get Yasmeen to see the truth about Geoff and get her out safely?

“She feels she has tried the ‘softly, softly’ tactic but she now believes she has to do the right thing and swoop in and be the hero and look after Yasmeen. That backfires quite dramatically with potentially dangerous consequences for Yasmeen because she is so under Geoff’s spell that something like this could do a lot of damage.”

Armed with the proof that Geoff is dangerous, Yasmeen makes a decision that could have devastating consequences. She privately confronts Geoff about his past. He reacts violently and smashes her plate and then storms out. Geoff doesn’t return until the next morning and as usual, switches gears and plays the victim. Is it time for Yasmeen to see Geoff for the monster he really is before it’s too late?
