Fans know that Alya is on a mission to prove Stu’s innocence. The latter spent several years in prison for allegedly murdering a woman named Charlie. Stu defended himself and claimed that a corrupt police detective forced him into making a false confession.

In a recent episode, Stu had some time off thinking about his case when his daughter, Bridget (Beth Vyse), allowed him to meet his granddaughter, Eliza. Their meeting at Speed Daal went well until Stu’s ex-wife, Lucy (Lydia Rooke) arrived and caused a scene. She demanded Bridget and Eliza leave.

The commotion left Alya to think that Lucy may be hiding something. She confronted and accused her of hiding information that may help Stu’s case.

Meanwhile, Dee Dee Bailey (Channique Sterling-Brown) mentioned that a bag was found at the scene where Stu allegedly killed Charlie. Alya and Dee Dee discuss the possibility of having the bag tested again to find evidence that may help Stu’s case.

She wants the bag to be retested as soon as possible after her clash with Lucy but there’s the issue of the cost. The test is expensive so how will Alya pay for the test?

Bill Fellows Talks About Stu’s Storyline

In an interview, Bill Fellows, the actor who plays the role of Stu, talked about his character’s current storyline.

“Without giving the game away, there are loads of twists and turns in this storyline – it’s not just that Stu needs to prove his innocence,” the actor said.

“There are loads of elements to this story that come into play. This bombshell has blown up now,” he added.

Who Killed Charlie?

Stu’s secret was exposed when his friends found out that he was sent to prison for murder. He has always maintained his innocence and Alya wants to prove that, too. Spoilers hint that the culprit behind Charlie’s death will finally be revealed this month. Spoilers hint that Alya will grow suspicious of Lucy’s actions. She suspects that she has something to do with Stu’s case.

She’ll come up with a plan to get a sample of Lucy’s DNA. When she manages to get one, she’ll have it tested against the evidence from Stu’s case. Did Lucy kill Charlie?
