Coronation Street spoilers have documented that David Platt’s poor parenting will get the best of him as he ends up in a big fight with Max, which results in smashing a laptop.

Max (Paddy Bever) is set to wreak havoc in Weatherfield again as he uploads a disturbing documentary that aims to prove that the deaths of Natasha Blakeman (Rachel Leskovac) and Johnny Connor (Richard Hawley) are connected.

It’s not long before his conspiracy theory spreads online and it terrifies the people on the cobbles, especially his adoptive father, David (Jack P Shepherd). Previously, David received the blame for the sewer collapse from enraged people who pointed out his error of not fixing the sinkhole in their garden right away, so Max’s video adds fuel to the fire.

‘Coronation Street’ Spoilers – Max Turner Is Hated By Weatherfield Residents

Oblivious of the impact of his video, Max heads off to school, only to receive harsh treatment along the way from Asha Alahan (Tanisha Gorey) and her twin brother Aadi (Adam Hussain), including Max’s secret crush, Summer Spellman (Harriet Bibby) who are enraged at what they’ve seen. Max then skips classes.

Daniel Osbourne (Rob Mallard) informs David that his son didn’t show up at school again, leading the furious dad to track down his troubled child.

David is able to trace Max and angrily commands his child to apologize to people that are affected by his insensitive conspiracy content. However, David isn’t prepared for Max’s stubbornness when the child refuses to follow his command, so he grabs his laptop but accidentally drops it. Will this spark another fight between the father and son?

When asked about why David is struggling with how to discipline his son, actor Jack P. Shepherd told Digital Spy: “It could be a combination of things. David feels like Max has been through a lot in his childhood.”

“David can also see a bit of himself in Max. When David used to play up and Gail was at the end of her tether with him, it was always Audrey that used to see the good in David,” he added.
