This time, she has a diagnosis, and feeling like a burden, Audrey could leave the cobbles for good.

Corrie spoilers reveal that something seemed amiss with Audrey earlier this year. Audrey got into a fender bender. Back in September 2021, Audrey was upset with Rita Tanner (Barbara Knox). Convinced that Rita was being disloyal, Audrey then accused Gail Rodwell (Helen Worth) and Claudia Colby (Rula Lenska) of laughing behind her back.

Gail arranged for a birthday meal for Audrey and invited Rita, hoping it would smooth things over. However, the event didn’t go as planned as Audrey found offense in the gifts. It also didn’t help that only a few people showed up. Things got even worse when Rita showed up and Gail make a comment about Gail squinting to read. Audrey stormed out of the Bistro and got into a crash.

When it was suggested that Audrey get her eyesight checked, she got pretty upset. Audrey insisted that nothing was wrong and resented people treating her as an old lady. However, there was something wrong with Audrey’s eyesight. In fact, Audrey will get some devastating news about her health next week.

Coronation Street spoilers from Metro state that when Audrey returns, she will have a neck brace on. When Audrey is asked what happened, she explains that she got into an accident. Yes, another one. Of course, this will spark concern from all the people who care about her. Then, it is revealed that Audrey has been diagnosed with cataracts.

After the diagnosis, Audrey moves in with Gail and David Platt (Jack P. Shepherd). However, she will end up feeling like she’s a burden and just getting in the way.
