Coronation Street Spoilers: Billy Mayhew Forgives Todd Over Betrayal After Saving Summer From Danger

Coronation Street spoilers and teasers have revealed that Todd will desperately try to find his way back again into Billy’s arms after his crimes are exposed.

Todd Grimshaw (Gareth Pierce) is busted after his accomplice teenager Will (Ben Hackett) betrays him by exposing his crimes to Paul Foreman (Peter Ash).

Happening next week, Billy Mayhew (Daniel Brocklebank) happily announces that he and Todd plan to tie the knot in just five weeks’ time.

But it looks like Todd won’t be walking down the aisle as his wiles are finally brought to light when Will realizes Todd had tried to outsmart him.

Coronation Street Spoilers – Summer Spellman In Talks

Summer Spellman (Harriet Bibby) talks with Will and mentions the £1,000 Todd gave Billy. It then dawns on Will that Todd tried to outwit him by giving him the least amount of what they had agreed on for the heat pump.

Will admits Todd’s tricks to Summer and proceeds to contact Paul to send the video of Todd boasting about how he successfully fractured Billy’s relationship with him.

Paul gets his best revenge on the charity calendar’s launch party when he switches the laptop with Will’s for the calendar video.

When Emma Brooker (Alexandra Mardell) presses play, not only did Billy and Summer see Todd’s manipulations unravel before their eyes, but also the people who are gathered for the event.

Billy feels betrayed and heartbroken, but still decides to call the police. Summer and Paul join him as he watches the police arrest Todd for theft.

In scenes scheduled to air on July 30, Summer and Billy agree it is right for Todd to face his consequences in prison. However, Summer faces another health scare when Aadi Alahan (Adam Hussain) invites her to chill out in Victoria Garden.

Offering her a bottle of fruit cider, Summer believes it won’t trigger her blood sugar. However, the teenager heads home as she’s feeling unwell.

Learning from Aadi, Todd rushes to the flat and kicks the door to check on Summer. Todd is terrified to see Summer unconscious on the kitchen floor.

‘Coronation Street’ Spoilers – Did Todd Arrive At The Right Time To Save Summer Spellman From Death?

Actor Daniel Brocklebank previously hinted at this storyline in an interview with Digital Spy. When asked whether his character Billy can still forgive Todd: “It’s easier said than done when you’ve had your heartbroken, but I think for Summer’s sake, Billy would probably – at least on the surface – try to find a middle ground, at least just to try and keep that co-parenting stable for Summer, he revealed.”

Will Billy change his heart towards Todd?
