“Coronation Street” spoilers have hinted at a possible breakup for couple Craig Tinker and Faye Windass which comes untimely as the latter fears she’s pregnant with their child.

Craig (Colson Smith) sacrificed his noble profession for his lover Faye (Ellie Leach) and friend Emma (Alexandra Mardell) after the duo got involved with an old man’s death as a result of them knocking him over on the street when Faye was driving.

Craig took the incriminating piece of evidence in Ted’s (Duggie Brown) flat so that Faye and Emma will not end up in prison, but his guilt devoured him so he stepped down from the police force.

In upcoming Coronation Street scenes, Craig’s inward turmoil will reflect on his actions with his mom Beth (Lisa George) observing he seems to be in a bad mood.

When Beth claims that Craig is struggling with his new job at the factory because he didn’t really want to quit as police, Faye is troubled knowing all too well why Craig quit in the first place. The trouble continues for her as Beth suspects Craig is hiding something from her.

Faye wants to cheer her man up but gets rejected. Will this lead to a breakup?

Faye surprises Craig with a night out but the former police officer refuses to go, reasoning that he needs to wake up early in the morning for his job.

But when Faye leaves, Craig confesses to Emma that a part of him blames Faye for wrecking his career. Will he end things with her soon?

If Craig cut ties with Faye, it might not be the best time as the latter confides with Elaine (Paula Wilcox) later in the week that she fears she’s having a baby. Elaine suggests she takes a pregnancy test to be sure. Will this help patch up things between the couple? Or will this create more rift between them?

A baby storyline is possible for Faye as her portrayer Ellie Leach had signed a new contract with the soap just a few weeks ago which will see her in the Street for another year.

A source told The Sun that Corrie bosses are glad about her decision because she’s a “huge talent”.

“She’s really proved herself time and time again, most recently after the accident which caused Ted’s death. There’s lots more to come from her and some exciting storylines ahead.”
