‘Coronation Street’ Spoilers: Curtis Delamere Health Horror Turns To Wed Proposal

“Coronation Street” spoilers have teased a bittersweet moment for Curtis Delamere in which his undiagnosed sickness leads him to a lifelong decision involving his girlfriend, Emma Brooker. Can he still live until that day?

It’s no secret to Emma (Alexandra Mardell) that her boyfriend, Curtis (Sam Retford), is suffering from an illness they don’t know about. She’s fully aware that he’s living only in a matter of time but still sticks by his side.

Recently, Curtis’s deteriorating health scares Emma more following his sudden collapse incidents as he takes shifts at the hospital, pursuing his dream to complete medical school. Her anxiety worsens when she sees a clump of hair fall out, Curtis downplaying the danger, saying it’s just another side effect.

Next week in the long-running ITV soap, Coronation Street spoilers tease Curtis confides with Emma admitting he’s worried for his upcoming exam as his medication adds a challenge for him to concentrate. Another burden is that he isn’t sure if he’s still alive until he graduates.

To ease his worries, Emma borrows books from the nurse, Aggie Bailey (Lorna Laidlaw) but Curtis rejects them, insisting online revisions are way better.

Later next week, Emma learns Curtis has gone missing on his examination day and worries something might have happened to him. Could it be that Curtis collapsed again?

‘Coronation Street’ Spoilers – Curtis Delamere Suffers Extreme Chest Pain

Emma tells her dad, Steve (Simon Gregson) about Curtis and the latter goes on a search mission. Fortunately, he finds him at the Victoria Garden and speaks wisdom to him. Curtis feels better, so Steve offers him a lift not to miss his examination.

However, Steve’s car fails to start, Curtis offers to push it while Steve tries to make the engine work. But when Curtis uses his strength, he can’t breathe, and he sinks to his knees because of the extreme pain in his chest.

They bring Curtis to the hospital and when he regains consciousness; he assures Emma he only needs rest, but his girlfriend knows it’s something more serious. But Emma didn’t expect that when they get back to the flat, he will propose to her.

Steve shares some good news to Emma too about his and Tracy Barlow’s decision (Kate Ford) to use their personal savings to fund Curtis’ private consultation with the health experts. Previously, Emma desperately asked to use late Oliver’s fund for Curtis but Steve rejected her outright, saying it isn’t right since many people donated the money with good intentions for Oliver.

When Curtis learns about their plans, he’s overwhelmed by their thoughtfulness that he drops out of medical school in order to spend every bit of time he has with Emma. Will he regret his decision? But the greatest question is, will he still be alive until their wedding day?
