Royal Family News: Prince Harry “Helpless” Over Queen Elizabeth’s Ailing Condition

British royal family news divulges that last week, for the first time in eight years, Queen Elizabeth was hospitalized. She has ruled for nearly 70 years, and routinely appears to be in the finest of health. Yet last week the country was rocked by news that she is ill.

Later came word that she must stay home for two weeks, missing key events in her official duties schedule. According to the palace it will be “at least” two weeks before she is allowed to carry out public duties. For now she is allowed to carry out video visits.

What is wrong with the queen? No one outside her close circle of advisors, and no doubt family members, know. The palace has not disclosed what sent her to the hospital, nor why her doctors have limited her activities. Buckingham Palace has only said that she spent a night in the hospital in order to undergo, “preliminary examinations.” That generalized description could mean just about anything.

Now comes word that her runaway grandson Prince Harry is feeling helpless over the turn of events. Last year Harry ditched his grandmother to lead a life of “financial freedom” in America. He slammed his grandfather when he was on his deathbed in March, and now he feels bad?

Harry and his wife Meghan Markle and their two children live in the US and according to UK’s Daily Express he is feeling, shall we say, uneasy?

The Queen is 95-years old and is expected to celebrate her Platinum Jubilee next year. That event marks 70 years on the throne. But this month she must undertake only light, desk-based duties.

After seven decades of dedicated service the nation is now acutely aware of the queen’s mortality. For the next two weeks she is allowed only to engage in virtual meetings and will miss a key climate change event.

According to the palace, “It remains the Queen´s firm intention to be present for the National Service of Remembrance on Remembrance Sunday, on 14th November.”

Will The Queen Miss More Events?

But she had to cancel her appearance at the upcoming UN climate conference in Scotland even though she was to be a significant world leader in attendance. Aides said she was “disappointed” to rescind her presence but ordered to by her doctors.

The monarch appeared healthy prior to the hospitalization and attended events on an almost basis, perhaps leading to her overdoing it.
