Coronation Street Spoilers: Daisy Midgeley Meets New Love Interest

Coronation Street spoilers have reveal that Jenny Connor will meddle in Daisy Midgeley’s love life after the latter’s love prospect, Daniel Osbourne, rejected her.

Next week in the ITV soap, Daisy (Charlotte Jordans) is furious when teacher Daniel (Rob Mallard) rejects her for a date. Amused by how this heartbreak is affecting her adopted child, Jenny (Sally Ann Matthews) plans to find her a man, as she believes Daisy and Daniel are not for each other.

When a handsome newcomer enters the Rovers, Jenny insists on Daisy she should serve him. Jenny then asks for his details with a plan in mind to have him interested in Daisy. Leo reveals that he’ll be staying on the cobbles for a while, as he’s one of the workers on the sinkhole at Number 8.

When Leo calls in the pub, Jenny has Daisy answer the phone to get to know the man, but Daisy’s not interested in him. The more she’s irked when Jenny invites Leo as they sample some beers for a singles’ night she’s preparing for.

But Jenny’s plans crumble when Leo arrives to join the pair, but Daisy heads off to bed. Will Leo pursue Daisy and make her fall in love with him?

However, fans might see a plot twist sooner or later as actor Rob Mallard reveals that his character Daniel Osbourne is actually interested in Daisy.

In his interview with the media last week, Rob revealed Daniel finds Daisy “different” than the other women who’ve been a part of his life and that she scares him.

“He can tell that she’s calculated but then he’s attracted to that danger, we’re all attracted to a bid of danger,” Rob told Digital Spy.

Rob hinted Daniel is interested in her but also he’s wary of her, for he knows what Daisy had done to Alya (Sair Khan) and Ryan (Ryan Prescott).

Another thing that is stopping Daniel from sparking a romance with Daisy is that he jumped quickly with other women including Nicky (Kimberly Hart-Simpson), Bethany (Lucy Fallon), and Sinead (Katie McGlynn), and Rob admits Daniel doesn’t want that to happen again.

“He’s been very dutiful over the last few years and he needs a bit of fun in his life, a bit of excitement and Daisy certainly brings that,” Rob teased.

Will we see a change of heart in Daniel Osbourne towards Daisy in the following weeks?
