Coronation Street Spoilers: Gemma Worries As Freda Disappears With Aled

Coronation Street Spoilers shows that there will be some problems between Freda and Gemma in upcoming episodes. As viewers know, Gemma Winter (Dolly-Rose Campbell) has been learning sign language in order to help raise her deaf child. Freda has been helping with the process of teaching Gemma about deaf culture and sign language. The two have grown closer as time went along but they are going to bump heads over Aled in upcoming episodes as they see things differently.

Coronation Street Spoilers – Freda Burgess Is Concerned

Freda Burgess (Ali Briggs) learns that Gemma has been attending meet-up groups with moms of children with cochlear implants that take place at the hospital. She decides not to mention how she feels about the situation but she is obviously not happy that Gemma is attending the group. Gemma sees that Freda is uncomfortable with the situation and she tries to comfort her by telling her that they will continue to keep ties to the deaf community. However, Freda becomes more concerned when she finds out that Bernie says that Aled will be “normal” after he has his operation. She’s concerned that this will take away from him embracing his deaf culture.

Coronation Street Spoilers – Freda Burgess Takes Aled Winter-Brown

Later on, Freda offers to take care of Aled while Gemma is out but she becomes upset after learning that Chesney and Bernie find it to be a hassle to attend the deaf groups. They also talk about how they want Aled to talk properly which hurts Freda that they would say things like that. Gemma becomes worried when she finds out that Aled and Freda had not returned when she gets back. She realizes that they might not be able to make it to the appointment in time if they don’t find Aled soon. Gemma worries that this might be a case of kidnapping and that Aled might have been abducted by Freda. This causes a search to be launched for the young child.

They find Freda at the community centre with Aled and she is showing him successful people who are deaf online. Gemma is relieved that she was able to find the two but quickly realizes that Freda has no intention of letting her take Aled with her.
