Coronation Street spoilers reveal Alya Nazir (Sair Khan) will take action to protect her grandmother from Geoff Metcalfe (Ian Bartholomew). She goes to the police, finds alarming information about his past and tries to force Yasmeen Nazir (Shelley King) to leave. However, her actions might have consequences for Yasmeen. Can she get out before it’s too late?
Corrie spoilers reveal Alya talks to the authorities about the abuse her grandmother is enduring at the hands of Geoff. It is unclear if they can do anything without Yasmeen filing a complaint. However, it is teased that the cops might have a little chat with Geoff. After all, they do need to investigate. Unfortunately, Geoff is a master of manipulation and can be pretty convincing.
Geoff doesn’t get arrested, which means Yasmeen is in even more danger now.
Corrie Spoilers: Alarming Discovery
Alya decides to do some research on Geoff’s past and discovers he has a violent history. Just like him targeting Yasmeen, the records show an altercation occurred between Geoff and a former girlfriend.
Hoping this will force Yasmeen to see the truth, Alya rushes to show her grandmother what she found. The young woman also begins frantically packing Yasmeen’s bags. However, she refuses to leave and begs Alya not to make her choose between her and the man she loves.
Coronation Street spoilers reveal Yasmeen later confronts Geoff with his violent history. Instead of trying to explain in a calm and rational manner, he explodes. Yasmeen’s plate of curry goes flying and shatters on the floor. She is clearly shaken and doesn’t know how to safely handle the situation. He ends up storming out in a rage and tells her not to wait up.

Coronation Street Spoilers: Gaslighting, Fury, And Blame
It is teased that eventually, Geoff comes home and immediately starts gaslighting her. He isn’t the abuser, she is. He didn’t do anything wrong, she did. He is the victim and she is a monster. We have seen him use gaslighting techniques on Yasmeen before and unfortunately, they usually work.
Even though Geoff tries to play the victim, he is furious and it’s taking everything for him to keep a lid on his anger. He tells Yasmeen that he does everything for her and she repays him by throwing it in his face.
Geoff Metcalfe May Have a Sinister Scheme
Later, he tells Alya that they won’t be moving abroad immediately, but it is still going to happen. On the one hand, this gives Alya access to Yasmeen and gives her another chance to save her. After all, the whole point of the move is to isolate the abused woman and keep her from her loved ones.
However, on the other hand, he could be planning something sinister. If Yasmeen goes missing, it could be assumed that they went ahead with their plans to relocate. Geoff is planning something, but we just don’t know what it is yet. Will Yasmeen get out before it’s too late? Keep watching the British soap to find out what happens with this storyline.
