Coronation Street spoilers for the week of March 16 reveal it will be an action-packed week. We will learn more about Geoff Metcalfe’s (Ian Bartholomew) abusive past. Evelyn Plummer (Maureen Lipman) will run into a former flame. Gemma Winter (Dolly-Rose Campbell) ends up feeling rejected and Maria Connor (Samia Longchambon) is alarmed by Gemma’s behavior. Plus, someone will emotionally collapse.

Monday, March 16: Alya Nazir Panics

Corrie spoilers for Monday reveal that Alya Nazir (Sair Khan) finds out that Geoff and Yasmeen Nazir (Shelley King) are selling their shares of the business. Once Alya talks to her grandmother, their plans to move abroad are announced. However, the young lady knows that this is just another attempt by Geoff to isolate Yasmeen from the people that care for her. She starts to pack Yasmeen’s bags so she can escape Geoff, but she refuses to budge.

Coronation Street Spoilers For Wednesday, March 18: Geoff Metcalfe’s Past

On Wednesday’s episode, Alya will look into Geoff’s past and what his life was before he arrived in the area. She realizes that Geoff is dangerous and finds proof of it. She goes to Yasmeen with her discovery, hoping it will prompt her to leave the man. However, Yasmeen decides to confront Geoff instead, which results in an explosive reaction.

Also on Wednesday, Gemma will introduce her “friends” to Bernie. Then she suggests they meet up later, but the women come up with an excuse. Gemma finds out later that they lied to her and feels rejected.

Evelyn will run into a former flame and it is teased there might be a rekindled romance in the works.

Corrie Spoilers For Friday, March 21: Gemma Winter Breaks Down

On Friday, Gemma is invited out to lunch with her “friends,” but then later hears them complaining about her. Upset and emotional, she grabs the quads and rushes out. She is so upset that she doesn’t notice a car is coming, which results in her and the quads nearly getting hit. A police officer observes that Gemma has been drinking alcohol.

Frustrated, Gemma finally tells Bernie everything. She reveals that she feels like a failure as a parent, constantly worries about the quads and hasn’t slept in weeks. Adding to all of this stress is the mom bullying at the groups she attends. Later, the babies begin to cry and still overwhelmed, Gemma goes out in the backyard and has an emotional breakdown.
