Coronation Street Spoilers: Horror Hits Weatherfield

Coronation Street Coronation Street Spoilers hint about the upcoming plans for the soap week that will be taking place later this month. During Super Soap Week, there will be multiple deadly stunts that will take place and it may end with the death of someone. A horrible storm is set to hit Weatherfield, which will affect the sinkhole in the back of the Platt family house.

The sinkhole will expand even more and the character around the sinkhole will find themselves underground. Among these characters will be Abi Franklin (Sally Carmen) and Corey Brent (Maximus Evans) as well as Jenny and Johnny Connor (Sally Ann Matthews and Richard Roland Hawley). On top of this Dev Alahan (Jimmi Harkishin) will face a hard decision when he and Harvey cross paths and the twins are in danger due to a car crash.

EastEnders Spoilers – Super Soap Week Danger

Corrie producer Iain MacLeod recently spoke about the coming week to the media and gave more information about what’s to come. They first talk about what will happen in during Super Soap Week, “What you can expect is something truly massive. We had a conversation with the network earlier in the year and they said: ‘What about if we did something in the autumn where money was no object – and we re-announced to the world that Coronation Street is still operating in top gear?’

Multiple storylines will be taking place including many Coronation Street characters who will face dangerous situations. It seems that filming these scenes was not easy either. “It was a challenging shoot and a long one for everybody concerned. But having now seen the episodes, which are more or less finished, I think it was worth all the blood, sweat and tears that have gone into it because the end result is incredibly dramatic and heart-stopping.”

Coronation Street Spoilers – The Sinkhole Creates Problems

When asked about the sinkhole and if they had planned this from the very moment the sinkhole was formed, they went on to say. “When we first collapsed the Platts’ back garden, it was with half an eye on doing something maybe around the 60th anniversary. Then when we got to the 60th, the COVID restrictions that were in place meant that we probably couldn’t do quite what we were intending to do with the sinkhole there.” The idea for Super Soap Week came about around Spring of this year, “The plan for that arose in March or April time, when I had the conversation with the network where they said they wanted to do something really big. As anyone that’s an observer of soap will know by now, we plan things at least six months in advance.”
