Coronation Street spoilers and updates tease that the show has finally revealed the future of Joseph Brown (William Flanagan) after fans started to fear that he may be leaving the cobbles for good. Fortunately, Monday’s episode ended on a positive note when it finally confirmed he’s not going anywhere.

Fans started to wonder if they’ll get to see Joseph on the show in future episodes when his father agreed that he go with his grandmother, Linda Hancock (Jacqueline Leonard) to Portugal.

Monday’s episode started with Linda giving Joseph a new pair of shoes before he went to school. The gesture made Chesney Brown (Sam Aston) feel that he was doing enough to take care of Joseph as a parent.

Later on, Chesney talked to Gemma Winter (Dolly-Rose Campbell) and said that it may be best if Joseph go with his grandmother so he could live a better life. Gemma didn’t agree with his decision and stormed off the room.

Coronation Street – Joseph Brown Decides To Go With Linda Hancock

Unbeknownst to the pair, Joseph heard their conversation and felt hurt at the thought that his father would easily give up on him. So he decides to go with Linda. The latter immediately booked a flight back to Portugal after learning that her housekeeper left her husband.

Joseph’s decision to go with Linda left Gemma heartbroken. Chesney agreed but it was obvious that he didn’t want Joseph to go. But he pretended that he was fine with Joseph’s choice and even declined Linda’s offer to return in a few weeks to pick Joseph up. He also disregarded Gemma’s pleas not to let Joseph go.

Coronation Street Spoilers – Hope Stape Makes A Shocking Revelation

Joseph has finally left the cobbles with Linda when Hope Stape (Isabella Flanagan) revealed that he wanted to stay with the Browns. However, he felt that they couldn’t afford him so he decided to leave to make their lives easier.

This made Chesney realize that he made a huge mistake in letting Joseph go. So he went off to the airport together hoping that their plane hadn’t left yet. Fortunately, Chesney managed to catch up and tell Joseph that he loves him and would like him to be a part of their family. The episode ended with the young boy asking if they had grilled cheese back at home.

Adam’s career and reputation take a hit because of the scandal. Adam vows to expose the truth and clear his name. But Lydia threatens him and says that she’s not yet done with him.
