Coronation Street Spoilers: Jennie McAlpine Talks Hope’s Fire And More!

Coronation Street spoilers tease Hope (Isabella Flanagan) feels abandoned after witnessing his father Tyrone Dobbs (Alan Halsall) getting excited with his new partner Alina (Ruxandra Porojnicu) about their upcoming baby boy.

Hope tells her mom Fiz Stapes (Jennie McAlpine) that she hopes the boy won’t be born. Shocked by her behavior, Fiz orders the child to go to bed. Oblivious to the mother, the child stole Alina’s keys and sneaks into the flat to collect the dinosaur toy she presented earlier to Alina.

The residents are terrified after learning that pregnant Alina is sleeping inside the burning flat. Fortunately, Alina is rescued after Sally Metcalfe (Sally Dynevor) and Eileen Grimshaw (Sue Cleaver) called for help.

Coronation Street Spoilers – Star Jennie McAlpine Says Fiz Stapes Is Busy Moving On From Tyrone Dobbs

Actress Jennie McAlpine has spoken about Hope’s troublesome behavior admitting her character Fiz is too busy putting herself first.

Fiz is enjoying the moment of getting to know her new love interest, Phil (Jamie Kenna), with the support she gets from her friends including Tyrone’s grandmother Evelyn (Maureen Lipman) offering to look after the girls.

But moving on from her bitter ending with Tyrone results in a consequence of not noticing how Hope has been coping with the changes.

“I think to be honest she has taken her eye off the ball a bit where Hope is concerned,” Jennie told the media.

Evelyn initially asks Fiz if Hope knows something about the incident, but Fiz dismisses the question, as she believes Hope was in her bed.

“She is almost saying to Evelyn do you not think I have thought this already? The only reason she thinks Hope hasn’t done it is because she was at home – she isn’t saying ‘my daughter would not do that’!” Jennie explained.

Coronation Street Spoilers – Fiz Stape Makes The Ultimate Sacrifice For Hope Stape

Coronation Street spoilers tease Alina initially blames herself for the fire, but after learning the blaze started in the baby’s cot and that her keys are missing, she’s quick to think of Fiz as the main suspect.

Fiz knows this isn’t Hope’s first time to cause trouble in Weatherfield and she worries how the child would respond to the police with her lack of emotion about what’s going on.

“Fiz and Tyrone confide in each other. She tells him of her suspicions quite quickly and they both know she is capable of it,” the actress said.

With Alina’s accusations on the other side, actress Jennie confirmed Fiz might take the bullet to save her child’s future.

“She may feel she has failed her daughter in some way and if she can stop her life from being ruined completely she might think this is the way to do it and take the rap.”
