Coronation Street Spoilers: Kym Marsh Talks About Michelle Connor’s Shocking Twist

Kym Marsh has opened up about the shocking twist involved in Michelle Connor’s exit storyline. “Coronation Street” spoilers hint that Michelle will make a mistake of accidentally selling the Bistro to Ray Crosby later this month. She was seeking for a quick sale before leaving Weatherfield but she’s horrified when she finds out that the person who made her life a misery will own the Bistro.

Marsh said Kym will be furious when she finds out. “Of all the people to buy the Bistro, it’s him, the slimeball! He’s the last person that she was expecting,” she said.

“She doesn’t take the news very well and contemplates trying to change things but it’s too late. He’s the last person she’d want to sell the Bistro to,” she continued.

“Michelle thinks: ‘I’m just going to smash the place up!’ She knocks everything off, throws things and smashes the place up. For her, it’s everything mounting up – the events of Christmas Day, and everything afterwards,” Marsh added.

The actress added, “Michelle doesn’t even think that much about Ray as everything else is going on. She’s in a bad place at that point.”

Leaving Coronation Street

When asked about her departure from “Coronation Street,” the actress said the week leading up to her exit was the worst of all. She admitted that it was very emotional.

“It was good as I had to film loads of emotional stuff, so crying was not a problem. I was crying on tap! My last day was really emotional. My final scene was in The Rovers with the Connors, but it was filmed out of sequence as Michelle leaves in a taxi.”

She was overwhelmed with all the gifts and well wishes she received. She added that she had a great party one week before so nobody really knew when she’ll leave.

She was amazed at the number of people who attended the party. “They work so hard and it was lovely that they were there along with the cast. The last day was nice and emotional,” she said.

Future Projects

Marsh will be keeping herself busy after “Coronation Street.” She’ll start touring the UK as part of the cast of “Elf.” She was also cast for the movie “The Loss Adjuster.”

When asked if Michelle is gone for good, Marsh was quick to note that it was considered as a “break.” She didn’t consider it as her last time in “Coronation Street.” She added that Michelle isn’t gone for good unless the show decides to kill her off-screen.
