Coronation Street spoilers, news, and updates tease that Michael Bailey could be the next murder victim as he keeps on opposing the Weatherfield killer Stephen Hay.

Beast murderer, Stephen Reid (Todd Boyce), took the lives of residents Leo (Joe Frost) and Teddy (Grant Burgin) when his secrets were about to unveil. In these cases, Michael (Ryan Russell) was so close to discovering what he was doing.

Next week in the ITV soap, Stephen claims another life in Weatherfield as rival Rufus Donahue (Steve Meo) dies mysteriously in his home. Rufus’ dead body floating in the pool leaves Michael in shock. Will he be next?

Earlier, Michael accepts Rufus’ higher job deal but fails to meet up with him since he dies. Trying to restore his position at the Underworld, Stephen snaps he’s already found a replacement for him as Head of Design.

Michael’s uncle Ronnie (Vinta Morgan) suggests going back together to Rufus’ house. However, the moment leaves them reeling when the authorities surround the property. Although he still can’t completely process what’s going on, Stephen takes him back to the factory. He then offered the man a new role as Junior Manager.

‘Coronation Street’ Spoilers – Atar Todd Boyce Teases Stephen Could Kill More Victims

Corrie star Todd Boyce, who originally appeared as Stephen in the 1990s, teased that his character is capable of eliminating more characters in the soap. “I think there could be more. He has a taste for it now and I think he figures that if he gets caught for three, he might as well get caught for four or five,” he told the Mirror.

Boyce thinks it’s a great way to be known in soap history as “the show’s biggest serial killer.” He also joked that his fellow co-stars fear their future is unsafe as there have been rumors his character will kill very senior characters.

“Every single cast member I work with is worried that they could be next on my list. At the moment, I’m doing a lot of scenes with Ryan Russell, who plays Michael Bailey, and he’s thinking: ‘Hmm, when did I sign my last contract?’”
