Coronation Street Spoilers: Nina Lucas Conflicted – Will She Help Kelly Or Leave Her To Die?

Coronation Spoilers have revealed that grieving Nina Lucas will find herself in a tight spot when she witnesses newly released from prison, Kelly Neelan being harassed by thugs.

Although Nina fully remembers that Kelly (Millie Gibson) tried to stop evil Corey Brent (Maximus Evans) from kicking Seb to death, she still has no heart to forgive her as Kelly just stood there without calling for help during that fateful night.

After being rejected by Nina (Mollie Gallagher) and other Weatherfield residents, Kelly has been living rough on the streets, which will see the teen sleeping in a doorway and scavenging for food on the local bins in the next episodes.

Coronation Street Spoilers – Homeless Stu Calls Nina Lucas About Kelly Neelan

The homeless man, Stu (Bill Fellows), who played a major role in pinning down Corey as the real culprit for Seb Franklin’s (Harry Visinoni) death, will also stand as Kelly’s secret guardian on the streets.

Stu will spot the returning character, drug dealer Jacob Hay (Jack James Ryan), protecting Kelly from a drug user who offers her some spice twice. Already familiar with the business on the streets, Stu orders Jacob to go away as he recognizes him for trouble.

Stu reaches out to Nina and suggests she gives Kelly some slack after all that she’s going through, but understandably, Nina won’t give in. However, Kelly spirals down as she phones the drug dealer and tries the spice herself, which concerns Stu.

The homeless man leaves Kelly for a while to track down the dealer, but the staggering teen goes in his opposite direction, only to be circled by a group of drunken bullies who will pour beer all over her.

Nina will witness the familiar incident, but she’s torn between rescuing her or letting her experience the same hell she overcame, which took away her lover’s life. What will be Nina’s decision?

The soap actress Mollie Gallagher, who plays Nina Lucas, has spoken to the media about her decision over Kelly’s need for help. Although she didn’t directly answer if she’ll help her or not, the actress hinted it was a massive trigger.

“Nina is a very empathetic character and she knows it will have to get to a point where she moves on, but at the moment she is really snappy towards Kelly – it’s definitely a trigger,” she told Digital Spy.

The actress also revealed that Corey being locked up in prison was the right justice for Seb: “She knew that if Abi [Franklin] killed Corey it was not going to bring Seb back, so it was important to her to get the right justice.”

“They achieved what they wanted, which was for Corey to go to prison and that is a really big deal to her.”
