It’s been six months since Seb Franklin (Harry Visinoni) was brutally killed. Nina Lucas (Mollie Gallagher) also nearly lost her life. Despite the actor’s exit, Evans teased that Corey could make a return in the future.

Asha Alahan’s Downward Spiral

Corrie spoilers reveal that Asha has always been troubled, but her problems escalated when she got involved with Corey. Even though Evans was only supposed to be in a handful of episodes, the actor ended up with a huge storyline. Corey went from being a jerk of a boyfriend to an abuser, which led Yasmeen Nazir (Shelley King) to warn Asha.

Then, there came the murder storyline, which made Corey one of the most hated characters in the ITV soap.

Corrie Spoilers – Seb Franklin’s Murder

When Seb and Nina were attacked by Corey and his group of friends, viewers were horrified. Seb ended up dying from his injuries and Nina went through her own horrific mental breakdown. Nina didn’t remember many of the events from that night. Even though she began to recall pieces, Corey wasn’t punished. Instead, Kelly Neelan (Millie Gibson) was sent to prison.

Corey Brent’s Criminal Charges

Coronation Street spoilers reveal that Corey tried to flee the country with his father. However, he was not able to get away as it was hijacked by Gary Windass (Mikey North). Even though Corey still hasn’t confessed, the Crown Prosecution Service has agreed to finally charge him due to new evidence.

Coronation Street Spoilers – Maximum Evans Teases Return

On Twitter, Evans wrote a goodbye message to his fans and followers. However, it seems to indicate that Corey could return one day.

“And just like that… he was gone. Thank you all for the ride, it’s been a blast. Over & out… for now.”

There could be a lot of twists and turns that would bring Corey back to the cobbles. So, we will have to stay tuned to find out what happens. In the meantime, Evans’ co-stars all commended the actor on a job well done. Sally Carman, who plays Abi Franklin Webster, commented,

“I’m going to miss you. What a fabulous job you did.”

Georgia Taylor, the actress who portrays Toyah Battersby, wrote,

“What a blooming triumph, Max! From an initial handful of episodes to an incredibly compelling and complex villain. Top work.”
