Corrie didn’t air the details of the gang attack because of the challenge of having to film scenes while following social distancing due to COVID-19 restrictions. Nina also struggles to remember what really happened that night.

These episodes are scheduled to air in the autumn as part of the murder case development, which includes the answers about the real mastermind for killing Seb and leaving Nina injured.
Coronation Street Spoilers – Billy Mayhew And Bailey Ed Help Nina Lucas Gets Distracted With Memorial Veg Plot
Viewers have witnessed how Nina was overcome with guilt and shame after knowing she was the center of the hate attack. Poor Nina resorted to drinking booze and self-harming in her attempt to handle the pain.
Billy (Daniel Brocklebank) is concerned Nina will return to her destructive behavior again and so he mentions a memorial vegetable plot his parishioner has left. Nina tells uncle Roy (David Neilson) he wants to set up one for Seb.
Understanding that this can ease Nina’s anxieties and stress with the upcoming trial, Ed Bailey (Trevor Michael Georges) donates the land next to his builder’s yard.

“I hope it sends out the message that we should be free to be who we want to be, and that we should all be accepted in society for being ourselves, and that we shouldn’t feel like we have to hide for being who we are. Everyone should feel free to express themselves,” Mollie said.
