 As a result, the man mixed a vial of LSD in the man’s drink and drowned him in the pool. He managed to escape his crime when the authorities concluded Rufus’ death was an accident.

However, Stephen might soon end up in jail as Rufus’ wife, Lou, starts to investigate the incident.

The woman once brought a bag of Rufus’ belongings to the Underworld and showed all the things collected during the horrible event. Lou was convinced that her husband’s death was a foul play, especially when she saw a tie-pin that doesn’t belong to Rufus.

On the other hand, Stephen was stunned as he recognizes the object as his own. Fear started to wrap around him when Lou planned to show her piece of evidence to the police officer.

Aside from the suspicious tie-pin, Lou was also left puzzled when Rufus’ watch went missing. The news alarmed Peter as he previously saw the late man’s watch in his cab.

He approached his wife, Carla Connor, and told her about the matter revealing that he pawned it to finance for her rehab.

Moreover, he was shivering in fear when Lou stated her desire to further investigate the late businessman’s case. In the upcoming scenes of “Coronation Street,” Lou joins a meeting at the Underworld and updates Carla on the investigation.

As she mentions that the police will look for Rufus’ missing watch, Carla feels uneasy knowing that her husband is behind the lost object.

Later that day, Peter phones the pawnbroker and tries to ask for the watch back. Little did he know, Stephen is just around the corner listening to everything he says.

The moment he realizes the villain’s presence, Peter opens up about the matter confessing about the missing watch.

Though he tries to make amends with the pawnbroker, the man cannot do anything as the watch is already sold.

Peter must trust the man as he comes clean with his little secret to him. However, he suddenly changes the way he looks at Stephen and he warns Carla to keep an eye on him as he cannot be trusted.

Does Peter know something about the murder? Will this be the end of Stephen’s evil deeds?
