Coronation Street Spoilers: Peter Barlow’s Plan To Expose Mr. Thorne Backfires

Coronation Street spoilers and updates tease that Peter Barlow (Chris Gascoyne) will find himself in an awkward position as his plans to expose Mr. Henry Thorne (Dominic Mafham) turn against him. Peter wants to take revenge on the villainous doctor after he finds that the latter rushed his liver transplant to win a bet.

Peter can’t let go of his anger after learning what Mr. Thorne did during his liver transplant. He didn’t only rush his operation to win a bit, he also took a selfie with Peter’s damaged liver and commented on how unhealthy it was because he drank too much alcohol. Peter admits to Adam Barlow (Sam Robertson) that the incident still troubles him. He becomes even more frustrated when Adam shares that there’s nothing they can do because there’s not enough evidence against the doctor.

Peter is still not satisfied and talks to Carla. He ignores her advice to just let it go and move on with his life. Given that nobody seems to want to help him, he comes up with a plan to expose the dodgy surgeon. He wants to make him admit medical malpractice while recording their conversation secretly on his phone. Unfortunately, Mr. Thorne gets wind of what he’s up to and blows up his only chance to expose what he did.

Coronation Street Spoilers – Chris Gascoyne Talks About Peter Barlow’s Storyline

In a recent interview, Chris Gascoyne says that the storyline will send his character back to the path where he feels self-loathing once again.“It’s not an easy thing to live with, he is troubled and when he gets troubled like that and stops communicating with people again, that’s when I don’t know where he’s going to go,” he explained.

Gascoyne is excited to see what happens to his alter ego at the end of this storyline.

“We go from just one little strand here and one little thing that’s happened which becomes just the tip of an iceberg, it’s really interesting,” he added.

Coronation Street Spoilers – Max Turner Gets Blackmail Message

Spoilers hint that Max Turner (Paddy Beaver) gets a message from Sonya, prior to their date, to send a naked picture of him. Max complies but later finds out that Sonya never exchanged any message with him. They realize later on that they’ve been a victim of a catfishing scam.

Things turn for the worse when Max receives another message asking him to pay £1,000 if he doesn’t want his naked photo to be released online. Max turns to David Platt (Jack P. Shepherd) for help but the latter refuses to give him the money he needs to pay off his blackmailer.
