Coronation Street Spoilers: Stephen Reid Suspects Elaine Knows His Secrets

Coronation Street spoilers, news, and updates tease that Stephens starts to wonder about Elaine’s behavior towards him.

In the previous episode of the longest-running soap, Stephen (Todd Boyce) drugged Elaine (Paula Wilcox) when he switched her blood pressure tablets with caffeine pills. He then walked out of their house when he saw his fiancée passed out on the floor. However, Elaine survived the moment when she woke up and immediately asked for help from 999.

Though he was pissed with what happened, Stephen pretended to be concerned with the woman when she was rushed to the hospital. When the doctor announced that Elaine would be able to return home, the villain couldn’t hide his disappointment. Meanwhile, in their apartment, Tim (Joe Duttine) expressed his doubts about Stephen as he believed that the man was behind his mother’s hospitalization.

Moreover, he suggested letting Elaine stay at their apartment for a while, but Sally (Sally Dynevor) rejected the idea as she believed that Stephen takes care of the woman properly. “I’ve got a funny feeling… I’m telling you, there’s something that just doesn’t add up about his story,” Tim continued to get suspicious.

In the next scenes of “Coronation Street,” the popular villain ignores his fiancée while Elaine practices her Tai Chi exercises. The woman then wonders about his sudden low mood. Meanwhile, Michael (Michael Le Vell) approaches Elaine and tells her about Stephen missing Canada. As a result, the doting fiancée decides to conduct a Canada Day.

At lunchtime, Stephen talks to Owen as he tries to win his trust. However, the businessman points out that he can’t believe any single word Stephen uttered. He also expresses his suspicion about the villain using Seagull Ltd to get funds from the Underworld company. Moreover, Owen states that Stephen wants Jenny back in his life again.

As the villain tries to stop Owen from his accusations, the door of the apartment swings open and Elaine, Audrey (Sue Nicholls), Sarah (Tina O’Brien), and Michael arrive with Canadian flags. The moment makes Stephen happy, however, his mood changes when he sees Elaine having a disheartened countenance.

Has Elaine heard Stephen and Owen’s conversation? Will she use the information against her fiancé? Will this mean that Elaine’s life is at risk again?
