Corrie spoilers confirm that everyone is looking at every tiny thing Robert does. They are analyzing his every word, too. All eyes are on him as he is the prime suspect in the disappearance of his pregnant mistress, Vicky. There are some who even believe the woman might be dead, but there isn’t a body.

Expect Robert to get arrested on suspicion of assault. He admits to getting into an altercation with Vicky, but claims he didn’t have anything to do with her going missing.

Speaking to Digital Spy, Gemmill explains that things don’t look good for Robert. He has a history of being a masterful and convincing liar. Plus, people are noticing that he is more worried about the Bistro and Michelle Connor (Kym Marsh) than Vicky’s whereabouts.

The actor also said that Robert certainly had motive and was very angry with Vicky’s behavior. He was going to make sure she didn’t show up at Robert and Michelle’s wedding, but would be really resort to murder?

Coronation Street spoilers tease that the big question is finding Vicky. There is a danger because she is pregnant, so two lives could be in danger right now. At the same time, if Vicky is already dead, then they need a body to prove that Robert is a murderer. However, would be really do it?

“He has tried everything to try and move on from the mistakes that he has made, but if Vicky had continued to try and cause him problems and stop his wedding going ahead, then he could have got very angry and made sure she didn’t get to the wedding. I certainly don’t think he would deliberately kill the woman who is carrying his baby.”

There are a number of theories on what happened to Vicky. She might have simply disappeared after the loud crash in order to implicate Robert. She could also be working with Michelle with the same agenda, to make Robert pay. This would explain why there is blood in the back of Robert’s van. As slimy as Robert’s actions were, we are leaning towards this theory.

Another speculation is that Robert might not have killed her, but someone else could be responsible, but who? What kind of person would murder a pregnant woman? Even if Robert is innocent, he might go down for a crime he didn’t commit. The actor is confirmed to be leaving the British soap opera. Fans will just have to see how this storyline ends.
