Coronation Street Spoilers Weekly Update June 30-July 4: Gary’s Emergency, Kevin’s Results, Dee-Dee’s Plot, Steve’s Confession

Coronation Street

Coronation Street spoilers for the week of June 30 tease Gary Windass (Mikey North) has an emergency, Kevin Webster (Michael LeVell) gets test result, and Dee-Dee Bailey (Channique Sterling-Brown) plots!

Also, Steve McDonald (Simon Gregson) makes a confession, Bernie Winter (Jane Hazlegrove) tries to make peace, and Millie Silverton (Kaitlyn Earley) panics!

Gary’s Emergency

As Liam Connor (Charlie Wrenshall) unwraps his birthday gifts, he mentions that he hasn’t heard from Gary and now worries that something might have happened to him.

While the rest of the family comes together for Liam’s birthday tea, Maria Connor (Samia Longchambon) is concerned that Liam could be right about Gary.

Soon after, we find an unconscious Gary in the hospital; when Gary’s condition worsens and a nurse rushes to help him, will he survive?

What happened and will Maria be informed- Gary had initially gone to stay with his mother Anna Windass (Debbie Rush) after tensions rose between him and Maria regarding Lou Michaelis (Farrel Hegarty).

Lou attempted to kiss Gary, and even though he turned her down, she tried to blackmail him; will the truth be revealed, and is the situation with Lou connected to Gary’s troubles?

Carl Webster’s On The Make For His Half-Brother’s Wife

Kevin confronts his cancer test results, but will he notice the growing connection between his wife Abi Webster (Sally Carman-Duttine) and his half-brother Carl Webster (Jonathan Howard)?

Kevin finds a message from Carl on Abi’s phone, where he expresses a desire to get to know her better. Later, Carl secretly creates another fake MOT certificate, and Abi tells him to keep his distance.

When Kevin gets to the garage, Abi shows him a car that Carl has been working on and highlights his poor craftsmanship. However, Kev reviews the CCTV footage and is stunned to see Abi interfering with the car.

Kevin’s Test Results

As the week goes on, Abi confides in a quietly angry Kevin that she’s anxious about his test results. Abi has to go to a breakdown callout while Kev attends his appointment by himself, but when Abi discovers Carl lounging at the garage, she’s infuriated while he shows no remorse.

Carl admits he can’t stop thinking about her and believes she feels the same way, but Abi insists she loves Kevin and is content.

At the hospital, a worried Kevin meets with his consultant. Will he receive the results he desires, and is he aware of Carl’s intentions towards Abi?

Dee-Dee Plots

Elsewhere, Dee-Dee makes a choice regarding baby Laila Bailey (Raiya Walton) without informing James Bailey (Jason Callender). Dee-Dee talks about the significance of her church to her, but James is clear that Laila will not be raised in a religious environment.

Defying James’s wishes, Dee-Dee organizes a christening with Billy Mayhew (Daniel Brocklebank), but Billy insists she needs James’s approval first; later, Dee-Dee tells James that she honors his decision about Laila.

However, it soon becomes evident that she is proceeding with her plans regardless, as she asks Alya Nazir (Sair Khan) to be the baby’s godmother. As Alya realizes Dee-Dee’s intentions, will she convince her to be honest?

Steve’s Confession

Steve McDonald shares the depth of his emotions for Cassie Plummer (Claire Sweeney). Cassie proposes that she and Steve join Tim and Sally Metcalfe (Joe Duttine, Sally Dynevor) for lunch.

While Sally makes sharp comments towards Cassie, Tim endeavors to maintain harmony; however, with the arrival of Tracy Barlow (Kate Ford), will she create further tension?

As time goes on, Sally and Tim start to become more accommodating towards Cassie. Steve confesses to Cassie that he can envision himself falling in love with her. How will Cassie react?

Bernie Tries To Make Peace

Bernie is attempting to mediate, encouraging Brody Michaelis (Ryan Mulvey) to reconcile with his mother, Lou Michaelis (Farrel Hegarty). However, Brody insists that Lou is dead to him-undaunted, Bernie brings Lou to the house and implores Brody to listen to her.

Will Lou manage to change Brody’s mind? Brody has just learned that Kit Green (Jacob Roberts), not the imprisoned Mick Michaelis (Joe Layton), is his real father. The fact that Lou has deceived him throughout his life has not been received well, but is there a chance Brody can overlook this betrayal?

Millie’s Panic

Panicking, Millie is alarmed when her father, Theo Silverton (James Cartwright), mentions he will speak to her teacher about her pregnancy. Todd Grimshaw (Gareth Pierce) confronts Millie, saying he knows she’s not being truthful, and advises her to be honest.

Feeling emotional, Millie agrees, and Todd suggests she take a pregnancy test to confirm that the previous one was a false positive, assuring her he won’t inform her parents.

When Theo comes back home, Millie has something to say; but will she reveal the truth, or will she make Todd appear to be the villain again?

Later, Todd informs George Shuttleworth (Tony Maudsley) that James visited and Theo was not pleased, which worries George.
