Carla faces a shocking attack next week, leaving her in a dire situation right after Lisa Swain (Vicky Myers) clarifies her feelings.

Lisa tells Carla that she isn’t ready to enter a relationship, but upon returning to the factory, Carla is horrified to discover it has been ransacked.

As she reaches for her phone to call the police, an assailant strikes her from behind, causing her to collapse.

This traumatic event may prompt Lisa to reconsider her feelings, as she keeps vigil at Carla’s bedside, hoping for her recovery.

Meanwhile, when the arrogant Matty Radcliffe (Séamus McGoff) makes a callous remark about Lisa’s late partner Becky (uncast character), Lisa’s anger flares, leading her to suspect Matty’s involvement in Becky’s death.

Alya Nazir (Sair Khan) has returned to Weatherfield, but with a surprising connection; at the station, Alya shows Lisa and Kit a photo of her client, a victim of police harassment.

Elsewhere, Betsy Swain (Sydney Martin) reassures Mason Radcliffe (Luca Toolan) that he doesn’t have to fear his brothers anymore, as she has made a deal with them.

Mason is shocked, but things change when Matty is brought in for questioning, and Alya supports his alibi with a statement. Yasmeen Metcalfe (Shelley King) is excited to have Alya back and is proud that her granddaughter is now working with a criminal solicitor.

Corrie Spoilers – The Family Learns Of Les Battersby’s Death

Leanne Battersby (Jane Danson) starts to feel uneasy, but soon she and a troubled Chesney Brown (Sam Aston) learn about the passing of Les Battersby (Bruce Jones).

Nick Tilsley (Ben Price) proposes that Toyah Habeeb (Georgia Taylor) join him and Sam Blakeman (Jude Riordan) for tea, allowing Sam to become accustomed to seeing them together.

This way it won’t be such a shock to Sam before they share the news of their new relationship. Later, Nick shares his plan with Toyah: they will inform Leanne and then take a holiday, giving her space to process everything.

However, Toyah prefers to wait until after Oliver Battersby’s (Emmanuel and Jeremiah Cheetham) memorial and the trial.

Coronation Street Spoilers – Leanne’s Suspicions

When Leanne presents Toyah with a rose bush and suggests planting it beside Oliver’s tree in memory of Rose Battersby (uncast newborn), Toyah is deeply moved.

The sisters share their sorrow only to realize that Toyah was already aware of the news. Toyah confesses that Nick had reached out to her, but Nick claims he only called about the schedule and that the news accidentally came up-when Toyah defends Nick, Leanne grows suspicious.
