She got down on her hands and knees, then ate the food off of the floor. In order to make her feel even more degraded and humiliated, he looked at her with disgust and then cheated on Yasmeen with an escort.

Yasmeen finally sees Geoff for who he really is and decides to leave. She now recognizes his abuse tactics, including the tricky method of gaslighting. This is usually how he got her to stay, by turning it around and making himself to be the victim. Well, that doesn’t work this time. Unfortunately, her escape takes a dangerous turn and she is forced to defend herself.

Yasmeen Nazir Arrested For Attempted Murder

Coronation Street spoilers tease that Yasmeen ends up being arrested and charged with attempted murder. It is suggested that she tries to explain what happened, that she was fleeing a dangerous situation and that she is the victim. However, it seems that the police don’t buy her story, most likely because Geoff is so conniving and convincing.

It ends up going to trial and Yasmeen fears she will never escape her prison. First, she was a prisoner — mentally and physically – in her own home due to Geoff’s abuse. Now, she risks being a prisoner in an actual jail cell. However, things are about to turn around for Yasmeen.
