Coronation Street Spoilers – Justin Rutherford First Landed In The Cobbles When He Began Stalking Daisy Midgeley (Charlotte Jordan).

It all started when the social media influencer kept on receiving multiple bouquets on her doorstep. She even confronted the wrong person as she thought it was the DJ who kept on harassing her.

One night, during her shift at the pub, Daisy unknowingly served drinks to Justin, though she remembered their first encounter at the hospital when she waited for her breast scan result.

Amidst their conversation, the woman experienced a jaw-dropping moment when Justin (Andrew Still) asked her about the flowers, leading her to know who her stalker was.

After days of pushing the man away, the social media influencer got to live a traumatic life when Justin appeared on the day of her wedding. He was holding a glass of clear liquid and threw the acid at her. However, Ryan Connor (Ryan Prescott) came into the scene and received the substance meant for Daisy.

Coronation Street Spoilers – Andrew Still Expresses Love For His Character

After Justin’s trial in court, Andrew Still stated his love for the character. “It’s always fun to play a bad guy. I do usually play troubled characters and Justin is definitely troubled. I have had to try and find the truth and the realism in him otherwise it just comes across as an inauthentic villain,” he told Metro.co.uk.

He also stated the challenges he encountered as a villain as he also tried to get the sympathy of the viewers. Given that his onscreen mom passed away leaving him in extreme loneliness, he used the circumstance the get the heart of the people, especially during his trial.

Remembering his last scene in Weatherfield, the actor shared how he really prepared for that moment, especially since his character got a three-page monologue to state.

When asked if Justin Rutherford deserves to be convicted, the actor replied: “When I have been a viewer of a show and watch a character do terrible things, I can’t help but hope that it’s going to come back to bite them. I think that Justin certainly deserves justice to be served because what he has done has been horrendous. I definitely think he should get his comeuppance.”
