Craig Tinker’s portrayer will join 5 more men including Corrie alum actor Ryan Thomas who previously played Jason Grimshaw. Former “Strictly” star Kevin Clifton, “Love Island” celebrity Wes Nelson, “The Wanted” actor Max George, and the former “Harry Potter” actor Josh Herdman will complete the men’s category.
Six women will also compete in the show including “Emmerdale” star Rebecca Sarker, “Love Island” celebrity Olivia Attwood, model Phoenix Brown, autism ambassador Christine McGuinness, newsreader Lucrezia Millarini, and songwriter and podcast host Chelcee Grimes.

According to Digital Spy, the participants will undergo intense coaching and training before competing across many locations such as the gymnasium, velodrome, swimming pool, and main athletics arena.

On our screens, Colson Smith who plays the police officer Craig Tinker is having a hard time moving forward after resigning from the force because of her girlfriend Faye’s (Ellie Leach) involvement in an old man’s death. Spoilers teased at a heartbreaking break-up for the couple amidst Faye’s pregnancy scare.
‘Coronation Street’ Spoilers – Craig Resents Faye Over Career Shift
The drama between the couple will play out this week when Craig’s mom Beth (Lisa George) observes that he continues to be in a bad mood. She informs Faye and speculates that Craig didn’t really want to quit the police force and that there’s more to unearth about his actions.
Faye feels the burden as she knows it was because of her that Craig needed to sacrifice so she attempts to surprise her beau with a night out. However, things turn sour when Craig rejects the date, pointing out that he has work in the morning. But when she leaves, Craig confesses to Emma (Alexandra Mardell) that he resents his girlfriend for ruining his career. How will Faye react if she finds out?

Meanwhile, Faye braves life alone and finds comfort in someone that she might be pregnant which comes at a high time since she and Craig are at each other’s throats. If ever her fears are true, will she tell Craig?
Craig inquires in his former manager if it’s possible for him to rejoin the force but will he get accepted? If yes, will he break up with Faye?
