The actress has been with Coronation Street for five years, and her contract is about to end this coming September. Lipman revealed that she’s considering extending her stay for another year. Sometimes, yes. Do I have the right to be? Of course not. Would I like to be in Sex Education? Yes, of course. Am I sorry I’ve signed up with Corrie for another year? No, I’m not,” she considered.
In her latest interview, she revealed that she relates to her alter ego very much. They’re both assertive, and they stand their ground. However, she doesn’t have a habit of stealing bottles of brandy from convenience stores. “But I know that woman inside out. I know where she shops; I know why she’s tight. I know why she wouldn’t get her vest off when she had a lover,” she said.
