Meanwhile, Laura has decided to hire a private investigator to look for Rick. Gary tried to derail Laura’s plans by offering to hire the PI himself. Unfortunately, Laura was one step ahead and hired one of her own.

Her investigator said that he came to a dead end and has no solid leads as to where Rick is at the moment. But he said that it seems like Rick is already dead and it seems like Gary has something to do with his disappearance.

In upcoming scenes, Gary will finally come clean to Rick’s ex-wife Laura Neelan (Kel Allen). She’ll ask him about her ex-husband’s disappearance and Gary will feel like it’s the best time to make a big confession.

Laura confronts Gary about Rick’s disappearance. Things have been going from bad to worse for Gary after learning that the new training ground of Weatherfield County will be set up at the place where he buried Rick’s body.

Mikey North, the actor behind the character Gary Atkins, opened up about what’s to come for his alter ego. He said that his character knows that he’ll never be able to move Rick’s body. Gary has grown closer to Laura so when she starts asking questions, he’ll finally crack and tell the truth.

“It’s going to come out any day, so Gary might as well tell Laura the truth. He snaps at her and tells her everything,” North said.

He’ll try to explain to Laura that it was self-defense. He’ll also argue that he was trying to save Sarah Platt (Tina O’Brien) and Bethany Platt (Lucy Fallon). It seems like Gary will finally give up as he tells his wife Maria Connor (Samia Longchambon) that it’s game over for him.
