Coronation Street Spoilers: Tim And Sally Metcalfe Encounter More Trouble In Their Married Life

Coronation Street spoilers, news, and updates tease that Tim and Sally Metcalfe try to work things out in their marriage, but it seems like it does nothing great for the two of them.

In the previous episodes of “Corrie,” their problem arose when Tim Metcalfe (Joe Duttine) suffered from a heart condition, which he decided to keep a secret from his wife, Sally Metcalfe (Sally Dynevor). The matriarch also believed that her husband has been cheating on her when Tim found a friend in Aggie Bailey (Lorna Laidlaw) as he dealt with his heart problem. When Tim finally got the courage to tell the truth about his illness, his wife was left devastated.

When the time of the operation came, the whole family gathered to show support to Tim, until he got better and finally recovered. However, another medical issue arose when Tim doesn’t want to be intimate with Sally. He decided to see Dr. Gaddas but he felt embarrassed by his illness and failed to attend his doctor’s appointment, which made him utter another lie as he said that his impotence is just a reaction to his recent triple bypass operation.

Coronation Street’ Spoilers – Tim And Sally Metcalfe Attend Therapy Sessions

In the next episode, the couple constantly loses intimacy with each other, so they decide to go to a sex therapist. Tim is hesitant at first, but Sally convinces her husband to give it a try. However, it seems like their marriage gets worse when Tim feels awkward opening up and doesn’t want to cooperate with the exercises.

When their therapist advises them to go on a date like it’s their first time, it still doesn’t end great when Sally feels like her husband is more focused on Ed talking about his misunderstandings with Aggie than being with her. Will the couple overcome their marriage issues? Or will this be the end of Tim and Sally’s relationship?

‘Coronation Street’ Spoilers – Sally Dynevor Encourages Brits To Talk More About Sex Life

As her intimate storyline in the soap goes on, Sally Dynevor stated that Brits should also pay attention to bedroom antics. “We don’t talk about sex a lot in this country. I was surprised at the script, I kept thinking, ‘Can we say this at this time of the evening?’” the actress said per Mirror.

Dynevor also expressed her happiness for doing that “controversial” storyline as it was something that she hasn’t done before. “I’m hoping people do reach out to me about the storyline. With my friends, we talk about menopause, but never about those other things,” she said.
