Savannah Chrisley Gets Kudos After Parents’ Prison Release

Savannah Chrisley worked hard, day and night, to get her mom and dad, Todd and Julie Chrisley, out of prison. Well, their pardon happened thanks to President Donald Trump and his administration. When she and her dad gave a press conference, many fans gave her kudos for her fight for justice and for her family.

Fighting An Amazing Fight 

There was no way that Savannah was going to sit back and let her mom and dad serve their combined 19-year sentence. From the get-go, she started fighting, and years later, she finally welcomed her mom and dad home. Not everyone raved with joy, but thousands of people did because they didn’t believe that the time fitted the crime.

Many people believed that Todd and Julie were targeted and were possibly innocent. Despite a lot of obstacles during appeals, Savannah Chrisley worked her way through allegations of poor prison conditions, campaigned for her parents’ release, and still fights for justice for others. In the press conference on Fox Live Now, Todd Chrisley talked about her determined fight.

What Did Todd Say?

For the former patriarch of Chrisley Knows Best, his daughter’s fight was a hard thing to reconcile. He said that Savannah “fought a long fight, and for any parent to see their child fight this hard, it’s a double-edged sword.”

Todd continued by saying, “It’s a blessing, and then your heart breaks because your child has been placed in that position to fight for you when it’s as a parent you’re supposed to fight for your children.”

He said to his daughter, “I will always be grateful to you from the bottom of my heart.”

Speaking about the pardon, Todd also told the media that his attorney, Alex Little, will be revealing the injustices in their conviction as the evidence is unrolled.
