Amber Heard Quit Hollywood And Is Living In Madrid

After everything she had gone through with Johnny Depp and his defamation trial last year, we certainly don’t blame her. There’s a new report that says Amber Heard has officially quit Hollywood.

She’s no longer living in Los Angeles and instead has relocated to Madrid with her daughter, Oonagh. Here’s what you need to know.

According to the Daily Mail, Amber is loving the new life that she has built for herself and her daughter in Spain. One source close to the situation even said, “I can reveal that Heard has quit Hollywood and quietly relocated to Spain with her young daughter Oonagh. She’s bilingual in Spanish and is happy there, raising her daughter away from all the noise.”

But just because Amber is living overseas now, that doesn’t mean she’s quitting the entertainment business for good. Sources close to the Aquaman star says that she may return to acting again, but it’s just not going to happen anytime soon.

The tipster added, “I don’t think she is in any hurry to return to work or to Hollywood, but she will probably come back when the time is right, for the right project.”

As many fans probably already know by now, back in 2022 Johnny Depp won $10 million in compensatory damages and another $5 million in punitive damages in his defamation trial against his ex-wife. Depp sued Heard for a 2018 Washington Post article that she wrote in which she insinuated that she was a survivor of domestic abuse, even though she never named her ex-husband in her piece.

Is Amber Heard Ever Coming Back To Hollywood?

At the time, Amber said the verdict was “a setback” for women who speak up with allegations of abuse. Johnny Depp celebrated his win by rocking out with his friend Jeff Beck at sold-out concerts all across the UK.

So far Amber Heard herself has not made any comments about her new life in Spain. Interestingly enough, Johnny has been very quiet on his end, too.
